The location and layout of the property are spectacular. The room we had, a family suite with private pool, was wonderful, and we never even used the large pool for the main property. We had the premium inclusive package, which I strongly recommend, although it takes some getting used to for the ordering, especially for cocktails. The beach is as nice as any I have seen in Greece, with crystal clear water; a Great feature is a funicular down to the beach, eliminating most of the steps but not all. Unfortunately, service is inattentive on the beach much of the time; food and drinks can be ordered through your phone and come quickly, but individualization is not easy this way, and there is no follow-up from the beach staff as to your satisfaction with your order and whether you need anything else. The food was excellent both in the a la carte restaurants and the buffet. A drawback is that the hotel was fairly full, and the facilities cannot accommodate everyone at once, leading to some delays and overworked/frustrated staff at times. This is a very family friendly resort, and we were caught off guard by this because despite the name of our room it was just us two adults. The resort is welcoming to families, and the children can be loud and disruptive, which was unpleasant for us... We have already done our time with our children! The setting was unique and memorable, and we are so glad we chose this resort, but next time we'll choose adults-only.
