Property was beautiful and well maintained, it was quiet and great place to rest for a couple of days before flying home.

It was everything that we expected! Excellent accommodation,lovely food,and pleasant and helpful staff.

Good food, clean, friendly staff, but the interior is aging (with slanted floors) in our room.

Room was spacious this was after we refused first room 409 because window looked out onto a brick wall we eventually had 412 which better but bathroom needs refurbishing and water pressure was very low

The restaurant was amazing. The hotel was beautiful. The city view rooms have a better view than the river view rooms

Great staff! The breakfast in the morning was just perfect and they accommodated me bringing up to my sleeping teenager in the room which was very nice of them. Beds were extremely comfortable. If it wasn’t for the heat that day it would have been a lovely stay. They did have fans in the rooms but no A/C on those top floors was a bit uncomfortable. We managed with a cool shower and went outside for the evening until it cooled off.

Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!

Beautiful location and staff were brilliant. The restaurant food was very nice and not overly expensive. The hotel itself is somewhat tired and would benefit from a refurb. But I would stay here again yes

Nicely located next to the River Lee. Good bar, good restaurant, good coffee shop. A lot to like.
