Generally overall a good stay and right next to the beach and Fairmont Hotel. Restaurants, night market and shopping all within walking distance. Good for walks along beach. Hotel balcony has great views. Gym is very very basic but a day pass can be bought for 50rs and there is a chain of smart fit gyms.
Breakfast at hotel is excellent and would recommend to start the day with. Breakfast is optional at about 25rs per person.
Hotel rooms basic but good.
Overall a pleasant stay close to all nearby amenities.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery in Rio. This boutique hotel in the artsy Santa Teresa neighborhood, a mix of historic charm with modern luxury.
The location offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was stylish, spacious, and very comfortable.
The staff was warm and attentive, the pool area is stunning, and the food (especially breakfast) was excellent. An oasis in Rio — highly recommended for a memorable, upscale experience!

Hotel leaves a lot to be desired, lots of areas for improvement: small stuffy rooms, AC barely working, moldy showers, flat pillows, fruit flies in the washroom, very musty rooms and stained yellow spot on towels. Definitely not a 5 star experience, very disappointed. Staff is nice but that’s about it. Long way from where it needs to be from a Hilton standard.

Perfect location in Ipanema. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, quick check in and check out as well. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices including vegan options. Very satisfied with our stay in this hotel and will definitely stay again in the future.
