Inagua District Fishing Holidays

Check-in took about 20 minutes, and our room wasn’t ready. We were given access to amenities, but no one mentioned the arrival/departure lounge—which we later found and really liked. The room was outdated and not very clean—stained curtains and carpet, dirty balcony doors, and a poorly maintained sink area. The bed was comfortable, but overall it needs a refresh. Pools were extremely crowded with limited seating, and one adults-only pool was often closed for private events. The beach had plenty of chairs, but the water wasn’t swimmable due to seaweed. Food was very expensive, plus added taxes and gratuities. Starbucks and Pizza Lab were great; other options were just okay. Staff were friendly, but pool areas needed more frequent cleaning. Overall, the resort has potential, but it doesn’t match the price. For what we paid, we expected a more relaxing experience, cleaner accommodations, and better value for the cost of food and amenities.

Beautiful room! Clean and new

The property clean and stunning. The first room was a garden view. It was so small I had to duck my head to not hit the tv to get to far side of bed. I spoke to manager who moved us to a city view larger room. It was roomier however no Dressor for clothing so living out of a suitcase and of course noisier. Not much night life at hotel or surrounding area. Most places close at 6:00 pm catering to cruise ships. The hotel restaurant was dark and stuffy, we waited 20 minutes without anyone taking a drink order so We walked to margarita ville to their restaurants and took a cab to Atlantis 22 cab ride. The fish fry is a safe 20 minute walk from BC. The best part of BC is the pool and beach area with poolside bar and great staff. We enjoyed our stay overall.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Hidden Gem with Amazing Views & Hosts We had an awesome stay at A Stone's Throw Away—this place is a true hidden gem. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The views are absolutely incredible, especially overlooking the ocean—great spot to sit, unwind, and just take it all in. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Shan, Treasure, Chris, and John were all amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They genuinely made us feel at home and made the trip even better. THANK YOU! Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy, and we had zero issues during the stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The Indian restaurant on site was excellent as well. I had the Curry chicken and rice. My wife had the Penne pasta chicken. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau.

Beautiful room! Clean and new

The property is older and the cove rooms are worn and need to be refreshed as do the bathrooms. Big complaint about pool water temperature being too cold -- we did not swim at all in the pool, and it is the main reason for being there. Pool temps should be much warmer and advertised as other resorts do. We will not come back as other resorts have much warmer pool temps. Not enough beach chairs with sun covers at the cove beach or the pool. -- these 2 activities are the main reason people choose to come here -- so really needs to be addressed -- a truly lovely resort - if they can attend to these items
