The property was kept I good condition for its age. This is an older property that needs updates. The pools are nice with many lounge chairs. Be aware you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Not included in the resort fees you pay to stay here. Also you pay to park your car $15 a day. A pricey stay for not a luxury resort

This property was beautiful! Staff was very kind and helpful. Food from the gastropub and from the grill were amazing. The real game changer for me was the adults only pool. No kids splashing around or fussing. My only complaint was there was no microwave or blow dryer in the room. We plan to come stay many more times.

Rooms were very clean

There were roaches in the dishwasher. We texted the host and was told the HOA handled pest control. The host said pest control could go on Thursday, which is when we checked out. The side of the refrigerator was gross. The kitchen cabinets are dated and smelled bad. The bathrooms are out dated and one of the tubs where nasty. The shades were missing sections on the glass door, so there was light shining in your face all the time. However, the location is great. The kitchen countertops were granite and the kitchen and living room floor were updated.

The chef closed down the restaurant an hour and a half after opening and had an attitude when asked about it. Even the waitresses were confused about why they were shut down. Other than that it’s a great place. Rooms were nice and spacious, the staff were very friendly, and it has direct access to the beach.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. Before booking, I specifically chose this hotel because the room was advertised as having a partial ocean view. While there is technically a small glimpse of the ocean, you have to turn your head to a very specific angle to see it. The actual view from the room is overwhelmingly a parking lot. The photos and description on Expedia gave a very different impression, and I felt they were misleading. Parking was another frustrating issue. On two separate occasions, there were no available parking spaces for hotel guests, forcing me to park in the public beach access lot next door. I also observed people parking in the hotel lot after coming from the beach and leaving without entering the hotel, which made it seem like guest parking was not being monitored. Housekeeping was also disappointing. When I requested clean bed sheets, I was told they would not be changed until after the weekend. For the price guests pay to stay here, I don’t believe that’s acceptable. The mattress was uncomfortable enough that I woke up with back pain, and even the toilet paper provided was extremely poor quality. What disappointed me the most, however, was the lack of customer service. I sent an email to management during my stay to express my concerns. After receiving no response, I sent a second follow-up email. As of today, I have still not received so much as an acknowledgment. Breakfast 2/10
