In every area, our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely get the romantic dinner for two: most exquisite meal we've ever had. Each course was phenomenal. Spa facilities were world class with fantastic view of Alps. Skip the outdoor pool; it was freezing cold. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. After working 20 years in surgery, I have very high standards for cleanliness: A here. Highly recommend.

The hotel is wonderful overall; however, some rooms—specifically the one I stayed in, room 402—have a very low ceiling next to the bed. This poses a safety concern, as there is a high risk of hitting one’s head when getting up. Additionally, the shower is particularly cramped and uncomfortable.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and it is Ulrich who made the visit so memorable. Right from the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and that your comfort matters. She truly cares about her guests and goes out of the way to help if needed. The rooms are bright, colorful and spacious. Location is very convenient . No indoor/designated parking for guest staying for more than 5 days. There’s a damp smell in the bathroom. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great location.

Ditter, the concierge is SOOO NICE! Our first room’s A/C was not working but it was resolved quickly. Housekeeping wasn’t great but after we mentioned it, it was great! The restaurant Backi at the corner is AMAZING!!

A lovely stay in Salzburg in the Hapimag Resort. One thing I need to clarify: this is NOT a hotel. It is more of a short-term residence. Every room has a kitchenette and breakfast is not included or indeed on offer. There is no restaurant or bar or even a lobby. A very small reception area serves as a small marketplace for purchasing essentials. That said, it is in the heart of the Altstadt and the location is unbeatable. If we had not stayed in the Altstadt it would have limited our ability to explore old Salzburg as much as we did. The property itself is in a charming old building but the rooms are tastefully renovated and refurbished. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in and explore Salzburg.
