(259 reviews) Absolute gem of a resort. Amazing food, accommodation and service. After 11 visits to Fiji this stands out as one of my favourites. Veti, the Manager is an angel who will do anything to inprove your stay. She was there when we arrived late on a Sundat night after 11pm, and there when we left before 6am a week later. Food in Fiji is known to be hit and miss at the best of times but Wellesley did not disappoint. Gourmet food at very affordable prices. If you want peace and serenity this is the place to go. 10 out of 10. (1,001 reviews) We had a great stay at the Shangri La resort. The staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate. The resort is showing it's age a bit but overall provided everything we needed. The snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. The lounge chairs at the beach and pool were in bad need of an upgrade. But the beach and snorkeling made up for it. The resort is great for families or if you prefer the adults only section was great as well. The food was good and I would recommend eating at the Black Marlin steak house, the rib steak we shared was fabulous there. If I went to Fiji again I would not go in March as we found the humidity a bit overwhelming. I would highly recommend a massage at the hotel spa and my husband enjoyed playing golf. I wish we had been able to see some sights off the resort but the humidity kept us at the beach and resort. We met some great people and overall had a fantastic time. (1,002 reviews) The Waitui Beach Club Plus rooms are well worth the upgrade – every staff member went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing holiday (special shout-outs to Romeo, Mary, Sky and Elenoea from Waitui, as well as Fiu from the housekeeping team) and all the extra inclusions were fantastic. While there was a problem with the resort's air-conditioning system during our stay, we were provided with a fan to make the humid nights more bareable and it did not ruin our holiday at all.
