Everything was unique especially the automated system. Enjoyed the spa. We had some difficulty using the living room tv. Could not find local channels. Everything was LG channels. Otherwise the location, decor and amenities was extraordinary. We will tell our friends about this wonderful place.

The Muir is our favourite place to stay on the east coast (as east coasters who have stayed in every kind of accommodation in the Maritimes). The staff is friendly, professional, and proactive. The amenities and location are top-notch. It feels like a luxurious retreat. We also loved our room, which felt spacious, with large windows looking onto the Queen's Marque plaza, its stairs leading into the sea, and the 'Rise Again' landmark jutting over the water. The downsides were: musty smell in shower, cabinet doors that needed adjusting (hard to close), terrible white wine in the room (for $49/bottle; not chilled), and tasteless pancakes for breakfast (not included in the $700/night room fee). We generally do enjoy the food at Drift, but I would suggest having breakfast elsewhere.

We found the hotel and rooms to be impeccably clean. Fair size rooms as well. The breakfast was amazing and really comfy beds.
