Calabash Cay Fishing Holidays

Do not book here!!! There was mold in the room and they did construction my entire stay! Very outdated resort and the pool was filthy! Too filthy to even get in. On top of that…the pool bar was closed my entire stay! Why?! People are in town for vacation (I was in town for my birthday) and it’s 4th of July weekend. Why is the pool bar closed? Irritated is an understatement. Go spend your money elsewhere…not here.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff and we LOVED our King Studio room. Very clean and comfortable. Shoutout to Chef Tony for great meals! Thanks to all for a relaxing stay!

This is a very pleasant and well-run outfit. However, we were disappointed by the beach area, which wasn't really a beach but felt more like a concrete slab with a thin kayer of sand spread on top. Sadly, the shore all down Ambergris Caye was choked with a foul smelling algae bloom which made it impossible to swim and ruined the entire island atmosphere. The location is ok if you have wheels, but if you don't it's too far away from the shops, which is a real bother seeing as the hotel doesn't do breakfast.

The hotel is currenty under reconstruction so the pool and top deck were unavail for use. However.. the staff includeing mgt were more than helpful and personable. We celebrated our 30th anniversary during our stay and the hotel went out of their way to make it as enjoyable as i could have imagined.

Travelled solo, and Lina Point was everything I needed! I absolutely loved the peaceful, slow-season vibe. Spent some beautiful time by the pool and genuinely felt at home. Lidase and the team were amazing, from the continental breakfast to their thoughtful recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The rooms were spectacular. The best way I can describe my stay is simply “enough” everything I needed and more. I enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!
