Roncal-Salazar Fishing Holidays

We were met by a friendly man on reception. We had requested two rooms together and were given next door rooms - thank-you. The hotel was beautiful and clean and in a perfect location close to the beach, the boat over to Spain and plenty of shops and restaurants. The pool was lovely and very quiet so never a problem getting a sunbed at any time and pool towels were provided free of charge. We were unable to reserve a car parking space in the hotel as they don’t have many but managed to find a spot outside.

Great hotel when travelling with dogs, but I think €20 per dog is expensive as there is limited dog walking around the hotel. The food menu is a little limited with no vegetarian options. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Such a lovely hotel, breakfast and dinner were amazing! Loved that it was a smaller hotel, very quiet and great views. The staff could not have been more helpful, booking reservations for us and even offering to take us to the bus stop. This was the highlight of Zarautz.
