We had a beautiful room with an amazing view of Bergen. We got in early and waited for our for 6 hours, with little help from the staff and no services available in the hotel, except for the availability of water. The staff was not particularly friendly and we got the room at 3pm, in other words, there was no effort to make the room accessible sooner. Again, the room was excellent; the staff and cleanliness of the lobby, not so much.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms. Fantastic location. Incredibly helpful and responsive staff. Breakfast a la carte options were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was not as vast as other hotels (even hotels that are comparably less posh), and the buffet was not restocked as effectively). That was the only minor issue. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly staff, excellent location. The only negative was that the windows are single glazed so it was noisy at night. Our first night was a Saturday and the second night Norway had just beaten Brazil in the World Cup so maybe it's not always that noisy. At least the locals can sing
