Great hotel, close to restaurants and venues

The hotel was modern, clean and welcoming. The room was a great size with great facilities. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only thing that could have been improved was the size of the third bed. It was quite small and low for a third adult.

Room was not ready when we arrived. Relocated to new room. Bathroom light not working. Single beds very small and noisy. Noticeable noise from room above. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank House.

Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam, right next to Leidseplein, few mins from Rijksmuseum, canal tours, easy walk to Vondelpark, inner canal ring, Anne Frank House etc. Close to many bars and eateries/restaurants. Trams stop just outside. Good choice foods at breakfast (buffet only, not cooked to order). We ate elsewhere in the evening, so can't comment on dinner. Nice clean room, large shower, comfy bed and pillows.

Great hotel, close to restaurants and venues

Perfect place to stay, convenient location, 15 min walk from a direct tram (number 4) to centraal station. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless. Hotel bar is beautiful and cozy. Reception area lovely. Staff there were always incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The room (Deluxe) was huge, well placed mirrors, wardrobe size was great, shower was always good, bed was GIANT, with soft sheets and a comfy mattress. TV was in a great spot so was always comfortable to watch. Limited options for the TV of what to watch unless renting a film (roughly £10 each). The spa area was amazing. It was so clean, and well maintained. We were fortunate enough to experience the spa hut to ourselves my partner and I. The spa shuts at 10pm so a late night spa trip was the way to go. We would get what felt like private use of the pool, sauna and steam room and a little shower before leaving! Just all round a 5 star hotel and I couldn’t have been more grateful to have the opportunity to stay here, it allowed for me and my partner to have the best anniversary we could’ve asked for. Great location for museums and in an historic building. Not to mandarin standard however - older property that’s been acquired from an other hotel operator and the renovation is ongoing. Had no heating in my first room. Lighting flickered in bathroom. Speakers in bathroom weren’t working. Housekeeping failed to attend turn down on first night. Hit and miss hotel going through transition.

Wonderful hotel. Clean, large rooms, extremely helpful and kind staff available 24/7. You couldn't ask for a better location its an easy walk to either Centraal or the Rijksmuseum, wonderful location to stroll from for sightseeing or people watching. I saw that people had complained about noise but we didn't notice an issue and the hotel offered ear plugs in case. The wifi was reasonable and there is a great (but not included) breakfast in the hotel. If we return to amsterdam we will no question be staying here again, seriously could not recommend it enough.

Great customer service and team. The staff are really friendly and respond quickly to enquiries. Hotel is in an excellent location. You are in the main area for alot of activities within good commuting distance.rooms are decent size with nice working AC/heating unit. Would recommend this place again.staff helped me with booking activities. Great place to stay.
