I want to thank the staff at The Delphi! They went above and beyond to help with railroad failures, ideas of where to go, and always a hello and a smile. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this hotel/townhouse rental. This will be my go to place to stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend this to travelers because it’s a lovely area that is just a quick jump on the tram to get anywhere but yet you can easily find a great joint around the corner to eat, relax, and people watch. Thank you to the Delphi you helped my adventure in Amsterdam become a Fantastic one!! See you soon

Hosts were very friendly and communicated well, there is a shop on site with small selection of essential items for sale , visit to the local supermarket is recommended for larger groups/families look forward to visiting again in the future

The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and the breakfast they provide is exceptional and the staff in the morning are quite helpful. The reason I gave it an overall low rating was because there is no ice machine on the property’s. The first night that I was there the reception people were extremely helpful. I asked for extra towels and blankets when I checked in. While we were getting our luggage to go upstairs. The young man has already delivered them to my room. I then went down and ask them if they had an Ice machine. They said yes in the kitchen but it closes at 11 pm. He was very kind and went and got me some ice for my water. Then our a/c was not working and the receptionist that night quickly reset the a/c and had it working for us. However on my last night there, I went down to get some ice. This was only the second time in a 3 day stay that I went and asked for ice. When I got down there the reception person was someone new. I asked him for some ice, and he did no, I can’t get it for you. The kitchen closed at 11:00 pm. I then explained to him that one of the other receptionist went and got me ice from the kitchen. He quickly and rudely said, “No, there is nobody that can do that for you. The kitchen is closed and I will not get you Ice.” I did not appreciate him calling me a liar and I certainly did not appreciate his attitude and poor customer service. You really need to get an Ice machine for the customer. Even dumpy motel have ICE!!!

Do not go here in the summer. The “climate control” is not air conditioning. It was much hotter in our room than outside, and staying in the hotel was very hot. We opened the windows, but they did not vent well, and a ton of bugs came in. The pool was also closed. We paid extra for a suite with canal view and large windows, but they put us up on the 4th floor with small, set back windows which did not have a good view or the canal. When we asked to switch rooms, they said they were full and could not move us.

Such a great stay in Amsterdam. The flat was fantastic, so well appointed, perfectly located, in close proximity to everything either, walking/tram/bus. The hosts were quick to respond with any question. We would definitely stay again.
