The hotel looks great as you come into the foyer, but the corridors and general upkeep let it down. The walkway to the pool is not welcoming and pool bar very limited for food choices. The water jets in one pool were not working. The outside area is not used to it’s potential and has a feel of faded glamour, and is a bit neglected.

A very special place, in an amazing location for a reasonable price.

Besides being asked “who are you, what room are you staying in”- (in Italian- fortunately I speak it) by a rude member of staff (the only problem I had here), the place, the restaurant, the beach, the view was worth the belittlement. It was the last stretch of our trip after my Uncle’s funeral in Genoa, and I truly wish I wasn’t made to feel unwelcome for the day but again, it was a dream besides that. Very interesting historic remodeled architecture as well.

Such a lovely hotel. I feel like we’ve discovered a hidden gem. Staff were so kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour on arrival and made everything special for us!

This is a magnificent hotel. The location is at the port which has some rough areas… not safe at night. But I would stay here again for the elegance and quality of the property. The staff recommended a lovely small restaurant in walking distance that we enjoyed.

Really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff was fantastic and took a personal interest in us. Highly recommended!!

This property is in the centre of Manarola. A lovely, well-looked-after place. If you want to experience waking up in this amazing part of the world, we recommend this location.
