Knoydart Fishing Holidays

Overall we had an excellent stay. The hotel is a little disappointing from the street but once inside things are greatly improved. The rooms in particular were spotless and must have been recently renovated. Our only area for improvement would be shelves in the (excellent) bathrooms to store toiletries. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was good quality if a little limited. The main plus point were the excellent, efficient and cheerful staff who we commend.

We had seen mixed reviews about other people's stays and were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. We could NOT have had a more fantastic stay. Staff were extremely attentive and welcoming especially Veejay( the manager), Gary, Anne and Nadine. We are a family of 6 ( 3 adult couples) and it was the perfect highland base for exploring the area. Food was fresh and was made from scratch. Leave time for leisurely meals. Specially props for breakfast pancakes. Rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfy with beautiful views. Lots of communal spaces to enjoy family time and hang out. Highly recommend !!

Very spacious nice 2 bedroom in a great location. They even thought about parking which was included and walking distance at the local mall. Only warning is no elevator (unless we missed it the entire time) which could prove challenging for some people. We were ok but 2 large 50lbs suitcases for the family up and down were not expected and may not be for everyone.

A very enjoyable & relaxing stay. Could have been more vegetarian dining options. Extra cost of £35 per dog per night is very steep!!

Just great. There's not much more to add.

No one was available to check us in. The room had steps inside of the room that were not marked that were very dangerous. The bathroom had mold in the shower. We had one small towel and one hand towel each the breakfast was minimal with only breads, coffee, and tea. The property was old and not maintained. There are stairs, but no elevator. The bedding had holes in it and stains. There was no parking we were left to our own to find spots on the street. The Internet was very sketchy we got kicked off a lot. It is also in a very noisy area. The interior light of the room did not turn off at night. And there was only one outlet for the whole room. We did have a private bathroom, but other people checking in we’re not made aware that they had to share a hall bathroom. Angela the check-in lady did try to help us.

The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.
