Swiss Plateau Fishing Holidays

Generaly it was OK.But when we came we found difficult to enter the hotel.Access. to the hotel , our room 203 A.C didn't work. Breakfast was good. Communication with the staff at times difficult. We came from uk. Mainly speak English.

The hotel is located very closely to the lake Zurich and close to the Old Town where the shopping and restaurants are. The hotel does not have A/C which is very hard to sleep or stay in the room when the temperature outside is over 20’s C. Also, there is no coffee or tea in the room.

The setting and views from this hotel are absolutely stunning and were the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was also quite good, and we especially appreciated the excellent coffee machine each morning. Unfortunately, the room itself was very basic and felt more like a 2 star experience than what we were expecting. We stayed during an unusually hot period in late August, and there is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. While the staff were polite, helpful, and did their best by providing fans, the fan offered very little relief from the heat. As a result, sleep was difficult throughout our stay. The bedding, sheets and towels also felt lower quality than we would have expected, which only added to the discomfort. While we genuinely appreciated the friendly staff and the spectacular location, the overall comfort level was not sufficient for us. We would not choose to stay here again.
