(36 reviews) The staff were (again) super. The breakfast team were always welcoming and eager to help and Anna from reception was wonderful. The room was perfect. Mum is disabled and needs a scooter to get around, the lift access to each floor meant everything was available but the lower lift remises broken for our entire trip which meant reliance on taxis from the top or me dismantling and carrying it down the steps while mum had to stand. It wasn’t ideal but a huge thank you to the staff who helped a couple of times to carry it dow ln with me. (1,002 reviews) Everything was perfect except the check out. The staff seemed quitecrudecand affronted that we asked fir a late check out. We asked prior to our checkout as we have 2 children under 2 and were told to ask on the day. When I asked that morning, the staff (different from the rest of the week) seemed surprised that i would ask such a thing and were disinterested and told us flatly no, but we could get showered and changed up by the soa area. This would have been ok, but with 2 infants and our luggage packed and kept by reception this made it laborious and to be honest left a sour memory, which is a shame as the rest of the staff throughout the week were perfect.
