It was a nice place to stay.

What I liked the most was the staff that were always willing to help and when they see any animals on the property they would take you to see it. we also tried all the breakfast options which was very good. The hot springs were amazing the room was clean every time we came from a tour. We hiked on the property they have trails to go see waterfalls, ceiba tree and a farmhouse. What I didn’t like was they need more lighting and signage along the paths it was very hard to see at night.

A hidden gem — peaceful paradise in the heart of Tamarindo Jardín del Edén feels exactly like what you’d imagine a tropical resort to be: a quiet, lush oasis tucked away from the noise. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, full of greenery, and genuinely serene in a way that’s hard to find. The hotel has no direct beach access, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from the experience. The grounds more than make up for it. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable — nothing overly flashy, which fits the vibe perfectly. Food is really good, and having breakfast and dinner included is a great perk. The hotel also offers wellness activities almost every day, which is a lovely touch. The concierge team deserves a special mention — they’ll help you arrange any tours and handle the logistics so you can just enjoy your time. Location-wise, you’re right in the middle of everything: shops and restaurants are steps away, and the beach is only a 5-minute walk. It’s not the most dramatic beach in Costa Rica, but the sunsets and sunrises are absolutely worth it. A wonderful place to recharge. Highly recommend it.

Everything was great, however I wish they would change the breakfast options instead of the same few items every day. I would also suggest that they skim the pool at least twice per day since there are so many bugs that land on the pool. They asked if we were celebrating anything, and I told them it was our anniversary and my wife's birthday, prior to arrival and during the checkin, and no arrangements were made.

Everyone was so kind. We had a wonderful time. The pools and variety of hot tubs were amazing, very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Saw many animals as well.
