Madrague de la Ville Fishing Holidays

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Cambis, conveniently located near the Avignon Central station. The hotel was also very close to shopping, restaurants and about a 5-10 minute walk from the main beautiful square. We received an upgrade when we arrived and were grateful to the staff and hotel. They were very accommodating, spoke great English and offered good tips/recommendations for the town. We stayed here for a nearby wedding and our room was very spacious and offered nice closets and an excellent bathroom. The whole room was very clean and we had a nice view of the nearby church and main street. We did not opt in for the breakfast but the breakfast room was very cute and smelled amazing as we passed by each morning. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Beautiful old hotel with an amazing history of guest including Napoleon. Maintained to a high standard. Nice breakfast and even better evening meal in the main restaurant. You need to book dinner as they do not have many tables. The staff were amazingly helpful and polite. A great stay and perfect location for site seeing the Avignon.

I booked this hotel largely because of its Michelin rated restaurant. Turns out the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays. This information was nowhere to be found on the website or in the confirmation email. We had to taxi to another town to obtain any sort of meal. We were really looking forward to the dining experience on our last day in the country. Otherwise, the hotel was quite nice.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were a bit strange with the bathroom in particular being plastic and pressed wood that has seen better days. Breakfast was enjoyable.
