The ocean was visible from the room, providing us with the best breeze and sights possible.

Somehow our room got canceled so we had to pay even more for a brand new room, the beach is amazing a bunch of beach chairs, great bartenders, all of the restaurants are pretty much the same thing, clean pools amazing time overa. Beautiful stay at Emporio, there is also a Oxxo and 7-11 walking distance!

Staff is exceptional. Favorite restaurants, or the Asian and Olio. Alejandro at Olio was exceptional. We ate breakfast there every morning, but want. Ate breakfast at the buffet one time, but the food was lukewarm. The rooms are very clean excellent house cleaning service. Excellent room service for a coffee and pastries and mimosas in the morning. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is it seems like the preferred area pool area is over sold. The chairs are just right next to each other just lined up. The beach is very small. Just a few cabanas. You literally have to get out there at 7:30 and sit in the chair to save a seat on the beach or at the pool area. Other than that and being very crowded in a small resort, it was a nice stay.

We had an amazing 7 night stay at Melia casa maya. Family of four our kids are 10 & 8. Staff are very friendly and helpful- we loved the atmosphere. Drinks are all good. Bartenders all amazing. I wish there were more restaurants tho we missed having Asian type of food as there were none. Beautiful beach. Clean and calm right in front of the property but getting beach chairs were bit tricky. Were all taken by 9. I asked a guy and he said they put their towel at 6:30. The general store was ridiculously overpriced so I suggest everyone go elsewhere or use uber to get everything (still save a lot if money) No coin operated laundry available and laundry service by the resort is very expensive which might be a dealbreaker for some. Especially when you travelling with kids. Overall we had a great time at Melia casa maya. Oh if you are getting resort credit by booking on Expedia do not even bother about it. Went to spa treatment because I had $150 but They would not let me use it and had to pay out of my pocket at the spot. And when I asked about it at the guest service they did not know what to do with the credit.

Very nice hotel. Staffs are all pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious, bed and pillows are comfy as well. Restaurants offer good variety of food. Entertainment team are awesome for their activities. Good view of the ocean! Will recommend!
