Athens Coast Cheap Holidays

Beautiful Views and Wonderful Staff, but Disappointing Value for Money The Roc Club has some lovely qualities, especially its beautiful views and genuinely wonderful staff. The employees were fantastic, welcoming, and attentive, and they deserve special recognition for making guests feel well cared for. Although the restaurant has a small menu, the food was good, and I appreciated the quality of what was offered. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the high price of the stay. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of facilities, including a sauna, which I would have expected from a hotel in this price range. While the staff, views, and food were all positive aspects, I expected a more complete luxury experience for the amount I paid. The hotel has real strengths, but the facilities and overall value for money fell short of my expectations. I truly appreciate the employees and the service they provided. However, considering the price, I would hesitate to return or recommend it to someone looking for a fully equipped luxury hotel. Wonderful people, beautiful views, and good food — but ultimately, not worth the price for me.

only issue was the breakfast was bland and verifying.

We chose The Poseidon hotel as we wanted somewhere to chill after a few full on days exploring the centre of Athens. Staff were all very friendly from check in to the cleaners. We went for a sea view room and it was worth every penny for an uninterrupted view. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but shower itself was quite big. I’m not sure if all rooms are the same but ours had glass between the bathroom and bedroom so you can everything. It didn’t bother us. We’ve been together 24 years. Breakfast was good. A good selection so something for everyone. Faliro is fairly large area with a few bars and restaurants dotted around. We used the tram to get about. The nearest stop was literally across the road. The road is very busy and sitting on the balcony was noisy but the doors are very good and once closed the noise is not noticeable. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t hot enough but we did visit the sky bar for a cocktail. A great choice to explore the Athens riviera.
