Riviera Nayarit Cheap Holidays

Una gran experiencia

The Pacifico Palace is a lovely place to stay with a couple issues. First - Kudos to the serving staff, the cleaning staff, the chefs and entertainers. They are all very well trained and go out of their way to make sure your stay is rewarding. The food was excellent, the bar staff were fun and motivated and the rooms were properly cleaned. BUT The front desk and coordination between departments is a whole different issue. We will give three examples. 1. On a Saturday morning at 5:30 am the emergency evacuation announcement came blaring over the in room speaker. It was followed by a quieter voice telling us it was a false alarm. Then the evacuation voice came, followed by the quieter voice telling us it was a false alarm. This went back and forth for about 15 minutes, with the loud voice finally just keeping on being repeated. We headed to the lobby, where there was no one except one beseiged night clerk with about 50 people around him. There was no further instructions. So people sat around wondering what the hell was going on. It was a false alarm but no announcement ever came from mgmt. 2. We came back to our room one night and all the sheets were gone. No explanation, so we had to go downstairs to ask for them to finish the room. They were apparently checking the mattresses and failed to coordinate with housekeeping to finish. 3. No one at the desk knows anything about what the elite program gets you. We were given 3 different and wrong explanations of what it was.
