Clean rooms and great staff!

The resort was picturesque, and the staff was very attentive, even without being asked—except for the front desk. I stayed at the hotel for five nights, and for the last two nights, I had no air conditioning. I called the front desk, and they said they would send someone up, but nothing happened. It was so warm that I couldn't sleep. I asked about the air conditioning more than once until a maintenance worker told me it couldn't be fixed until the room was vacant. However, the hotel was full, so there was nowhere to move us. I was just out of luck. I've stayed at a Riu brand resort at least six times before, and this was the first time I felt neglected.
