Overall is a great stay. Hotel location is especially good. The only thing I hope would be better is the air conditioning, we caught the heatwave, and the air conditioning didn’t work the second night.

Heritage Madrid was the perfect place to stay for my first visit to the city. The location made it easy to explore Salamanca on foot, and I loved being able to walk to so many great restaurants and cafés. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from check in to departure, and they made the hotel feel genuinely welcoming. The architecture and décor are beautiful, with so much character and attention to detail. It feels elegant without being over the top, and coming back each evening was something I genuinely looked forward to.

You are a renting an independent room with your own key in someone’s apartment.
It’s kind of an hostel.
You have to call when you get there or ring the bell that looks like more like a light switch on the left of the door.
I thought for a couple of nights, just to sleep is convenient, great location.

Excellent for a brief stay, we needed 1 night in Madrid and this was perfect, VERY central and nice and clean and quiet. The lady that showed us round was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.
