Tijdens mijn verblijf in Hotel Pullman in Eindhoven heb ik een zeer positieve ervaring gehad. Het hotel is ideaal gelegen, midden in het centrum en op loopafstand van talloze winkels, gezellige cafés en goede restaurants. Perfect voor wie graag de stad wil verkennen zonder ver te hoeven lopen. Het hotel zelf is groot en ruim opgezet, wat meteen een gevoel van comfort en luxe geeft. De kamers zijn modern, schoon en smaakvol ingericht – een fijne plek om tot rust te komen na een dag in de stad. Ook de faciliteiten van het hotel zijn uitstekend, met onder andere een sfeervolle lobby, een goed restaurant en nette vergaderruimtes. Een klein minpuntje is dat de fitnessruimte op zondag pas om 12.00 uur opent. Dat is jammer voor vroege sporters of gasten die vroeg willen uitchecken maar nog even willen trainen. Al met al was het een prima verblijf. Hotel Pullman Eindhoven is zeker een aanrader voor zowel zakelijke reizigers als toeristen die op zoek zijn naar comfort, goede service en een toplocatie.

Overall, out stay was enjoyable. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Being in the city center makes everything just a stone's throw away. The bells of the St. Jan cathedral are charming. Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is not easy to get to by car (being in a pedestrian area). You dan drive in the pedestrian area, but when it's busy it is very awkward. The closest parking garage is Wolvenhoek, at approx. 500 meters. The garage is very narrow with small parking spots, so I recommend renting a small car. But once settled, you can walk to just about anything. Our first room was on the West end of the hotel (The Duke suite) and was very noisy (the restaurant below the hotel played LOUD music until well after midnight on Thursday and Friday night). We tried to sleep with ear plugs and even noise-cancelling earbuds, but that was very uncomfortable. The staff helped us move to the East side of the hotel for our last 2 nights (St. Jan's suite), and there it was blissfully quiet (with the exception of the charming bells of the St. Jan). I recommend booking rooms 1 - 4 or 13 - 17, all towards the East side of the hotel.

Generally, entire experience was good. I wish the rooms had AC and actual windows, not the shutters. A couple things I did not like: I left the do not disturb sign all days I was there and 2 of the days housekeeping still went in the room. One of those times we were just waking up. Another issue I had was the late night reception guy was not very friendly and seemed bothered by our presence in the bar/restuarant area. One of the nights there was a man at the bar talking to him. This man inserted himself into a conversation that was a misunderstanding between my husband and the attendant. He was rude and it took me great restraint not to tell him off. The restaurant staff was nice during breakfast hours. And the day attendants were also very nice.

If you need a hotel room right at EIN airport it is great, however, please note if you arrive on the later side the “restaurant” is not full service it is sort of snacks and sandwiches and closes at 22:00 or a little before. And your only other option near by is McDonalds. Staff were ok, but not overly helpful
