Staff are amazing and hotel very clean. Hot water poor and was misinformed on enquiry regarding it. Unfortunatley and do not blame this person as new to position but we were told no hot water for couple days. Spoke to another later and explained due to hotel being quiet and old piped needed to run sink and bath taps together until hot eventually comes through. Other wise 5 stars all the way and we will definitely be back

A rather tired hotel in desperate need of a renovation from top to bottom.
The breakfast food was warm but dried out ; eggs dripping with oil; rubber mushrooms swimming in water ; and the vegan sausages rolled in cardboard filled with sand.

Parking is a nightmare. There are bus gates galore around the property and numerous roadworks.
Room was okay tbh the bathroom light blew in the middle of the night so showering in the morning wasn’t ideal without a light.
Central hotel located right beside the railway station.

We had a lovely stay at the Palm court, the only drawback for my husband was no bacon at breakfast! He still had a very good breakfast but really missed the bacon

Only stayed one night but all staff were great, super friendly. Bar food was nice and quick. They even had a shuttle bus on for a small charge to the P&J Live event.

"Check in was very slow as they were doing a fire check at 3pm when all the guests were arriving. Very old property and we were on 4th floor only a lift up to 3rd floor and a lot of the fire doors a were wedged open."
