Fiji Cheap Holidays

Fantastic, traditional and very relaxing little resort. We stayed here for 3 nights before heading into Nadi for 3 nights and it was perfect!

Short review: We loved this resort and would book there again. Detailed Review: We booked this property for 10 days for our honeymoon. We were set on a tropical overwater bungalow-type property, and this had the best price and accessibility of those options. Transportation: Arriving here requires a connecting flight from Nadi or Suva on the smallest commercial plane you've ever been on. However, the flight is quite beautiful and quick and when you land, there is a free shuttle waiting to take you to the resort (and back when you leave). The only on-site transportation is excursions booked through the resort or a bus that costs FJD2.50 each way. Great place to stay, clean, everythin needed on site and staff are amazing. Its a very much A family resort, so lots of children and activites which is wonderful if thats what youre looking for.

The newly renovated deluxe one bedroom was superb. The adults only pool and Koro’s restaurant was a great addition for those of us who don’t have young children any more. Just a very relaxing week with staff like Lucy and Milly who made the trip very enjoyable.

This was our 9th visit and once again we can't wait to return.The staff were excellent and we love the atmosphere of the reef wing in particular where we stayed . the breakfasts at Golden Cowie excellent and the dining at the Indian res turant at the Black Marlin was out of this world .

A pleasant location to lie on a sunbed for a couple of hours staring out at the reef break. Everybody is friendly and remembers names. The hill hike was great. My room was ocean view...decent size and a 45 deg outlook over the pool to the water. Steakhouse was a fave dining spot. Absolutely no hassles and had an enjoyable time.

Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area).
