Chokoloskee Island Cheap Holidays

The landing was a super nice, clean place to stay! The pool and gym were fantastic and added to the stay! It was also in a very convenient location! I would recommend to anyone to stay.

Nothing like beachfront with a beautiful view of the ocean. The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the bed was wobbly due to a bad mattress and the shower didn’t work right, but we were able to overcome. The surrounding areas, exceptional.

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is very clean.

Bar is good but don't opens until 11:30a

I was originally informed that check-in time was 3 PM. And I requested an early check-in time right away, five days before my stay. I was told that as soon as my plane lands,(10 am) I was to call and ask if it was available. I tried calling and did not get through to anyone until 3 o'clock when I pressed the button saying it was an emergency and I needed help. When I finally spoke to someone, they informed me that check-in time was now 4 PM and that I would get my instructions on how to enter in at 3:30. When I asked to speak to the general manager who originally told me to call once my plane landed, I was also told that he was not available over the weekend.The funny thing is, when I went into the building and chatted with a lady at the front desk, she told me that they have people complain about this all the time. Promise to be in at a certain time and then never anyone available to answer their questions and you don't get in until much later than you expect. When we finally did get into our building, it was beautiful and spacious and just what we needed, but I could not believe how dirty the floor was. I had to sweep the floor because the more I walked on it the more my feet got dirty. My feet were literally black a half an hour after I got to our building. There was also a dead gecko laying on the floor. Totally scared, my daughter, and she was freaked out for the first evening. It's a great place, and great location, but terrible "Manager" and cleaning staff
