The layout was very nice and it was in a very walkable area. However, the property wasn't secure. The door was left unlocked and that was a little unsettling. The place was spacious and fit me and my family very well. However, I'd read on previous ratings that the owner doesn't answer. The owner didn't answer any of my messages prior to the trip or during. I thought that was odd.
For example, it would've been helpful to know what we do with the towels when leaving or if we were required to strip the beds.
Also please have someone fix the door lock, it's a little loose and janky.
Other than that it was a good place

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff very professional, and friendly. The manager took us on a private tour of this historical hotel and was very knowledgeable. The dinner we had there at Bar George was excellent, although pricey.( But maybe no more pricey than other fine dining establishments in Montreal. ) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the concierge was exceedingly helpful in answering our questions and providing directions and recommendations. We especially enjoyed the nightly ice and chocolate offerings and were made to feel like it was a "home away from home" while we were there.
