We really enjoyed our stay in Ålesund—the hotel is in a fantastic, central location that made it easy to explore the area on foot. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant.
However, the biggest downside was the noise at night. There’s a bar just around the corner, and we could hear people coming and going at all hours. Unfortunately, it made for a less restful sleep than we had hoped.
If you’re someone who prioritizes location and doesn’t mind a bit of nightlife noise, this hotel is a great choice. But if a quiet night’s sleep is important to you, it’s something to consider.

Nice larger hotel. Parking is a challenge in Ålesund. We were fortunate to find a spot in lot next to hotel (needed to install app and pay (about $26/day)
Good location and many good food options in area.

Not worth the money, way too expensive for what they offer. For folks who are on the road and need to have a bit of food with them, be aware of no fridge in the room. Breakfast very good, but supper options are very limited and over priced. At least in our room bathroom was clean but there was a funky smell coming out of it. Would not stay there again.
