Room spotless the staff was incredibly helpful, even took us down to the golf bar to see if the Rugby was being shown there

The hotels definitely lives up to its pictures, walking around the grounds is breathtaking and the layout of reception inviting. Unfortunately the beautiful hotel missed some ambience. Lacking in music. Breakfast we decided to sample did not disappoint our taste buds, an amazing continental buffet style, with an additional option of ordering an array of eggs pancakes etc.. This was of great quality and alot of choice. The downsides to our stay was staff, a couple tainted the rest of the bunch. At night there was a friendly helpful bar person. But during the day not a smile to be seen and a word hardly spoken. Unfortunately we didn't sample the lunch and dinner menu as the rude staff once seated put us off partaking after giving them a second chance and still the same treatment we decided to venture out. Thankfully Elche didn't disappoint!

The cleaning staff were very nice and efficient. The breakfast was lovely once we found the cereal ( it was in a cupboard shelf away from everything else) it took us 3 days, wasn’t totally keen on the cooked breakfast rather piled up and sat for a long time. The entertainment unfortunately was not for us obviously directed towards children our fault for booking in school holidays. The evening meal choice was a bit restricted our family who joined us for a meal did not think the service was particularly good having said that the staff were lovely
