Residencial Bavaro Punta Cana Cheap Holidays

The pool was the place to be. Very spacious but limited seating. Friendly staff. Food was mediocre but the rest of the stay was great.

Our expectations were high for this storied resort. But ultimately, we were disappointed. The scene on arrival was chaotic. With our Expedia premium status we were told earlier arrival was possible. But our rooms were not available until considerably past the 4 PM check in time. The overly crowded beach made it impossible to find three beach chairs. The food was OK, but not equal to the cost. Our best time was up at Alto de Chevon, a quiet and lovely village recreation. Bottom line… We were so excited and thinking we would prolong our stay there our final day but instead found ourselves anxious to leave. Too bad. Considering it’s famous past we felt it had lost it magic.

Very nice heated pool

WORST. FOOD. EVER. I’ve been to many all inclusives, so my expectations were not high. The food at all of the restaurants was very sub-par. The buffet was passable, but unlike other all-inclusives, there was no dinner buffet (just breakfast & lunch), so you were stuck with one of the restaurants or - even worse - room service as dinner options. The staff were a mix of lovely and friendly, and very grumpy. I also noticed many people NOT tipping, which could contribute to the grumpiness. The room and grounds were very nice and clean, as were the pools, etc. The drinks were strong, which was a pleasant surprise. But again, I tipped the bartenders well! If it weren’t for the poor quality of the food, I would definitely return here. However, the food was so bad that I won’t be coming back.

Toilet didn’t work, staff was slow to fix If you don’t have premium status, service is slow. College spring breakers could have been handled better, we were woke up every night at 2am with them screaming in the hallways. Check out desk clerk was rude

Exceptional service, staff were very attentive and helpful in any way possible. Beautiful and tranquil spot. Room was beautifully decorated and view from the balcony was truly amazing especially dining sunrise.
