(76 reviews) We travelled as a group of four, 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 6 years old). We selected a family room with a mountain view. The room was nice and clean, but it was not in the main building of the hotel. This was not convenient for us because every time we wanted to go to the swimming pool or the restaurant, we had to fully dress. As you can imagine, doing everything with 2 small children is quite time-consuming and really not ideal. The room was connected to another one through a door that was initially open, and we promptly asked to have it closed. Unfortunately, the door did not insulate well from the noise, and we could hear everything from the other room. Again, knowing that we had 2 small children and having reserved 5 months in advance, the hotel should have taken these aspects into account. The last aspect we didn't like was the price of the parking. For a 4-star hotel (with the price of a 4-star hotel in Switzerland), we think the parking could be offered to the guests without charging 18 CHF per night. (172 reviews) The property is very nice but this definitely does not have the amenities and services of a five-star hotel. First of all it is a private residence. There is no concierge, no front desk, no spa, no gym, I know other rooms beside the rooms you stay in. The rooms are very nice but are missing some basic things especially since they rank themselves that's why I start. There was no lotion, no conditioner, and that toiletries were not luxury. Just average. They included breakfast it's just a basket of bread and jam they didn't leave at the door with some yogurt and butter. The residence does not have its own parking. You have to use private parking but at least it's close to the residence. The manager of the restaurants downstairs is the part-time property manager and he is friendly and nice but he's not there when the restaurant is closed. If you need something then call the number on the reservation you will get someone who will have to ask somebody else and get back to you for anything you need. This is more like a VRBO. The steam feature and the shower is nice but does not qualify this as a spa property. Location is great and overall we have a good stay but the descriptions of the property need to be updated so that expectations are realistic.
