There was no one there for checking into the hotel. There was a notice on the door with a local phone number. WE DO NOT HAVE PHONE ACCESS in Europe. Luckily someone was coming to their room and was willing to call for us. We got access to a lock box with the room card. People in our group got a text from WhatsApp with details but they did not mention it on the notice on the door. We did arrive around midnight to the hotel.

Room was very tired and showing signs of its age. Damaged wall paper and furniture.
Restaurant staff generally good, a few poor customer performance. Room safe was not working and although repeated requested, not fixed for four days.
