We took a family trip to Punta Cana and stayed at Majestic Colonial for a week. We all really enjoyed our stay. There was some initial hiccups at the resort, but were quickly resolved. We absolutely love how spacious the rooms were. My husband and I stayed in a swim-up pool room on the club side. We never used the outside jacuzzi, but enjoyed the quick access to the pool. Our butler, Samuel, was very helpful and booked us reservations to the French restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. The resort is absolutely breathtaking. I love that there are multiple pool areas. We enjoyed the club side pool since it was a little bit quieter. Our biggest complaint was the bar took forever and they weren't overally friendly. They definitely need more people working the bar. The drinks were good. The food at the restaurants were good and so was the room service. The buffet food wasn't the best. In the club area, there is an air conditioned room with beverages and snacks. It was super convenient. The beach was nice and had plenty of seating while we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this resort.

There is a 24 hour market across the street which was very convenient. Great food within walking distance. But more than anything the hotel staff and property was great!!
