If you like air conditioning, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! Our room felt around 85°F throughout our stay. We traveled with two other couples, and one couple switched rooms only to find the same problem. When we complained at the front desk, we were given a $10 fan. An employee told us the air conditioning throughout the hotel was basically broken, which certainly seemed to be the case. The employee also said the hotel had done nothing to fix the problem or acknowledge it.
The casino was unbearably hot, too. Service made the stay even worse. Many employees were so rude and seemed annoyed that guests were there. God forbid you asked a question! They were some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. The bars repeatedly ran out of basics like cups, ice, mint for mojitos, and even beer. How does an all-inclusive resort run out of beer—or freaking ice? Once something ran out, it wasn’t available again that day.
Between the heat, poor service, and lack of basic supplies, this was a miserable experience. I would never stay at this resort again.
