(378 reviews) My booking described the room as, "One Bedroom Apartment with Balcony". As it was a ground floor apartment it had an enclosed patio. The crockery and cutlery were stained from where they had been in the dishwasher, one knife had food baked on it. The television was dated and the remote needs new batteries. The furniture in the bedroom was dated; the mattress was old and past its best. Some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and/or cracked. The shower head was small and dated. Urban Space encourage you to recycle but don't leave you bags or containers to do so. The kitchen light would turn itself off after a few minutes. (750 reviews) We stayed at Lanelay Hall on 07 December and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hall looked beautiful with its festive Christmas decorations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our Deluxe King room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was equally immaculate. A lovely touch was the welcome card and petite fours, which made us feel valued as returning guests. After settling in, we enjoyed some time in the bar/lounge. It’s a relaxed setting with stylish décor and an inviting fireplace – perfect for unwinding. There was a good range of drinks at reasonable prices, and the service was excellent. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight. Despite being very busy, we were seated promptly and the food was outstanding, just as we remembered. After a few more drinks, we headed back to our room for a great night’s sleep. Overall, Lanelay Hall offers a wonderful combination of comfort, great service, and excellent dining. (1,002 reviews) Fabulous stay, great staff, great room, great view, great food! My only niggles are 1 lift was out of order so lift wait was long at times, wait to be seated in dining was long as no-one was ever at the door to seat us and children only have limited pool times which was disappointing. I can understand small kids who may be noisy etc but kids over 12 should have a bit more flexibility. Other than that, we will definitely be back!
