I was only there one night but I liked the concept with the shared spaces, greater collaboration with people working there and staying there. I really liked the view from my room on 12th floor. I think only reason for not 5 stars is the price is a bit high £159 + taxes for one night and no breakfast. But otherwise a very nice place to stay thank you

The Hotel is well placed and well run. The only downside is that the WiFi is very poor by modern standards

Minuscule basement room

Nice, spacious room with easy transit to downtown Amsterdam via tram. Food at the bistro was delicious and the staff was very helpful throughout the property.

(1) It's on Rembrandtplein, a street leading off Rembrandt Square. Another hotel named 'Rembrandt Square' is conspicuous in the square. The location of the NYX needs to be emphasized. (2) The bathroom had a tub and a shower. No instructions for their use was provided. (a) We finally determined that the circular control on the side of the tub controlled the volume of water entering the tub -- if the tub was selected. (b) Confusingly; it also operated the drain. Alas; the drain is slo-o-w. Is it blocked? (c) the upper control on the wall switched between tub and shower (d) it also controlled the shower's flow -- we think. (e) the lower control influenced the shower's water-temperature, with the slightest touch changing from tolerable to scalding.

The property needs Reno’s big time - bathroom toilet seat was loose, crumbling paintwork and loose tiles in shower area. Duvet was stained and while there a tv it was not working as satellite or source wasn’t installed yet. Location is great, but I’ll go back to previous hotel I stayed in last August. The Amsterdam Canal hotel.

We didn’t have the breakfast. The hotel was friendly and the service was good. Not great if you can’t carry your case up many flights of stairs. Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and well laid out. Storage a bit lacking but sufficed.
