Norway Cheap Holidays

The rooms were clean and the staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were ample choices available to choose from. The bus stop and underground is not too far from the hotel so getting around is very easy. My only con is that the beds are two singles pushed together to be a double which would sometimes move apart. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and very friendly staff

Overall not too happy with our 1 night stay here. I checked us in online early since we would be arriving late at the hotel. When we arrived we were told since it was late we couldn’t get a double bed but 2 singles instead, eventhough we checked in online. I still needed to check in when we arrived so why should we bother with the early online check in??? Room was ok, pretty dark and there was damage on the wall behind the door.

Great hotel and central to everything

My stay at this hotel was a terrible experience. I stayed for two nights, and the room had two major problems: 1. Cold drafts: I stayed on the top floor, and freezing cold air blew directly onto my face through gaps around both the regular window and the skylight. 2. Heating restrictions: The room temperature was around 19°C (66°F), and I couldn’t turn up the heat. Even if I could, it wouldn’t have completely solved the problem because of the cold drafts. 3. No action from staff: After the first night, I reported the problems to the front desk. The receptionist said they would try to fix them, but nothing was done. 4. A long-standing problem: I later checked other guests’ reviews and realized these issues had been reported repeatedly for a long time. MY ADVICE: Don’t make the same mistake I did. Read the reviews carefully before booking this hotel.

The hotel was warm and welcoming from the start. We had a standard room that was perfect. The hotel provide towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel along with hand wash and hand cream. The breakfast buffet it out of this world with all you could want. The complimentary hot drink and cake in the afternoon is a welcome touch and the evening meal was great too (saves you a fortune eating out). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel during our trip to Norway. It was a great base for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying everything Norway has to offer. The hotel made our stay comfortable and enjoyable, and we were really pleased with our experience overall. It was a lovely place to come back to after a busy day of exploring. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for helping make our Norwegian trip a memorable one!
