The location is next to the train station & bus connections making it useful as a base for travelling around. There are numerous shops nearby for any essentials.
The hotel itself was ok.
Pros: Location for transport links, quiet inside, reasonably clean & modern, ideal as a base for travelling round western Austria & the Obersalzburg.
Cons: No dining aside from breakfast, no fridge in rooms, the shower is badly designed with no seals around the door so water leaks all over the floor (other rooms reported the same), room cleaning could have been better but was ok, alcoholics congregate in the large square beside the station (not the hotel’s fault & they didn’t appear to bother anyone in the two weeks I was there but it may put some off).
