We arrived during a festival weekend and the hotel was all sold out apparently. The AC did not work in our room and it was a heatwave. We were only in town for one night and while we were given a different room, it’s not what we scheduled for. I had 2 rooms booked and had been explicit about them being together. The room we moved into had its own issues with loud noise coming from the AC a few times every hour. We don’t sleep well.
The breakfast option was expensive but with little sleep and the need to move in, we conceded to it

Just a wonderful hotel. My favorite and lucky to have the chance to stay there every year. Great breakfast, great location with plenty of character, close enough to major sites but not touristy, clean, all the amenities one needs/wants. Like many hotels in Vienna, has an interesting history (composer of Gone with the Wind born there). Reasonable price.
I really like this hotel!
