Schijndel Beach Holidays

Location great. Very quiet. Could use a deep clean but generally clean

The location was convenient, a very short walk from the central station, tram and metro stations. The staff were friendly, welcoming and supportive. The room was comfortable, a bit chilly

This was an adorable boutique hotel within 5 mins drive to the cruise port and within walking distance to the heart of Rotterdam. Our particular room was the “romantic suite” and was enormous with a bathroom area as big as the room itself! Tastefully decorated and welcoming! The lobby sitting area was cozy and had coffee, etc as well as a small bar and light snacks. They serve breakfast in their quaint kitchen and it was delicious as well as very convenient before we embarked on our cruise. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was a convenient location as we were boarding a Holland America ship the next day. It was literally across the street from the boarding area. The reason I gave it 4 stars was to evening meal area is a food court with really great food choices, but the music was so loud you couldn’t hear anyone.

We were in a city view room that was smaller but very well laid out. The Haven shares what would appear to be an excellent spa like area with a pool, sauna, and relaxing area with excellent views of the harbour with the adjoining Hilton Doubletree hotel. The Haven has a restaurant that appears to be only used for the breakfast buffet which was very good with plenty of options. We would definitely consider staying at the Haven on our next visit to Rotterdam. We visited the DO restaurant in the adjoining Hilton Doubletree as it was convenient to do so. The first night we were advised to pick our own table and someone would be with us shortly. We sat at our table for the next 20 - 25 minutes and no one ever did come by to see us. As such, we left. We decided to try the DO on the second night with the service being much better. The food was reasonably good but on the expensive side. The menu is somewhat limited.

Right outside the central train station, easy transportstion, good rooms, nice environment, great staff

This hotel was really lovely. It was very near to the older part of Gouda and the room was clean and spacious. There were some lovely touches -- a stroopwafel on arrival and free snacks in the room! The hotel itself has real character and has a lovely courtyard and is very quiet. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly.

Definitely would come back oneday, the hotel is clean, comfy bed and spacious washroom. Close to everywhere.
