Gaspe Peninsula All inclusive Holidays

This lovely apartment was in the perfect location to explore Old Town Quebec City. It’s located on the edge of the upper town, inside the city wall. We had a taller vehicle (minivan) so need to find a surface lot for parking. We parked easily at the bottom of the hill on Quai Saint Andre (allows both overnight and 24 hour parking) and could see our vehicle from the apartment. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, providing privacy for guests. We didn’t choose to cook while we were there, but the kitchen seemed to have everything needed to do so. It was wonderful to have two bathrooms (again, everything was spotless!). The rooftop terrace is accessible thru the bedroom window which was a very fun way to view the summer fireworks! If we return to Quebec City, we would definitely stay again and are 100% happy about the choice we made to stay in this updated apartment.

Amazing stay!

The location of this property was fantastic and made exploring the area very easy. The host was responsive, provided clear check-in instructions, and offered great local recommendations. However, we were quite disappointed that the baby bed we requested was missing upon arrival, which caused a stressful first night. In addition, the listing misrepresents the actual parking situation. The ​off-site parking​ should say that it is 8 minutes away and that is not suitable for an SUV. ​Our rental SUV couldn't fit so we were forced to rely on paid street parking ​which took us 45 minutes to find... adding another unexpected ​arrival hassle and expense.​ The host needs to update the listing to clearly state that oversized vehicles will require ​finding another parking​ location. Also, the mattress in one of the bedrooms seems to be very old. It is unsupportive, causing us to wake up sore each day. A mattress upgrade would make a huge difference here. This property has great potential but those were a few areas that fell short of expectations.
