(3,560 reviews) Beach was amazing. Resort was very modern and beautiful. Food was good (not spectacular) and staff were friendly and helpful. One downside was the "butler" experience. 2 butlers were assigned to us and neither one even tried to meet us during our week. One wanted to"say hello" on our last day, I assume to collect a tip for sending a Whattsapp message each day to simply say she was there. Also, the adult only pool area was always full of ants. I never saw anyone hosing the spilled sugary drinks from the pool deck at any point during the week and I would use bottles water to soak the area around my chairs to deter the ants. There was also black mold in the grout lines of the pool and I never saw anyone clean the pool all week which makes me suspect deficiencies in other areas of cleaning. Entertainment was ok. The best entertainment was the live band that plays for short periods in the main square after the theatre shows. Wish there was more of that. For the price I expected a bit higher level experience but if you are a beach person you will not be disappointed. (414 reviews) My stay was wonderful! The staff were WONDERFUL and extremely professional. Perfect location inside the Tulum National Park. I traveled there solo for some RnR and felt very safe in the park. I went on regular walks by myself throughout the day. The hotel itself is VERY quiet and beautiful scenery. I ate all my meals at the hotel. Food is AMAZING! I’m a food snob so that means a lot coming from me. Beaches were in walking distance. Snorkeling was just a 15 min walk away. The room itself was clean and the property well kept. If you want to see the Mayan Ruins, it’s a 40 min walk (can also bike or use the shuttle) and keep in mind the Ruins close at 3:30\. My only recommendation is to somehow soundproof the spa area. The ladies in the spa were wonderful. However I could hear when another guest came in to inquire about the spa, I heard when a car drove by, but I also heard birds chirping which I did like. Other than that, it was a great experience. (108 reviews) There’s really no such thing as a true five-out-of-five in my opinion — and the reality is I probably can’t afford the kind of place that would actually deserve that rating. That being said, this resort came pretty close. We went with another family - four kids between the ages of three and eleven - and everyone had an incredible time. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The amenities are excellent, the gym is fantastic, and the entertainment throughout the resort was great. The kids’ club is very good, although I would say it’s best suited for kids who are a bit past the toddler stage. The food was consistently very good, and the beach, pools, and water park were all highlights for the kids. Overall, we had an amazing stay and genuinely have no complaints.
