Bayonne and Biarritz Adventure Holidays

The room was very small for 2 people (closed size) and the sea view was very limited. I had to pay an extra 50 Euros/day for a more decent room.

The hotel is great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast is excellent and the decor is very fun and clever. The rooms are well configured, just small. We’re traveling for three weeks so were a bit overpacked but made it all work. It’s a quick walk to central town, which was great after dinner, and nice to be out of the hustle + bustle.

Clean room - comfortable - and fabulous location- right by the beach . There was a problem with the aircon but the hotel gave us a fan and were great about trying to make up for it with a dinner - they provided us with beach towels and !! Had a great breakfast too!

It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a blend of modern and period furnishings. The art collection is French Modernist (think Bernard Buffett), the glass is blown glass from the 60s and 70s. And then there is the champagne, mostly Dom Perignon. Luxury experience? Absolutely. Gracious? Very. Clean? Spotless. Gourmet food? Delicious. Spa? Yes. Pool? A lap pool! Landscape? Gorgeous. Pet friendly? Silver bowl for the puppy! Interior decor? Made me so jealous I didn't want to leave. Breakfast is a la carte, and drinks are generous. We will definitely return.

Great location for walking around this very special town! Their restaurant was, also , very good. The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions, as well as…

Loved this hotel! It is very conveniently located to the downtown area and all beaches…everything is easily walkable. There are many dining and shopping options close to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and modern. As a solo, mature female traveler, I felt very safe here. I would highly recommend Hotel Kemaris for a stay in Biarritz. Happy Travels!!!
