Les Arcs and La Plagne Adventure Holidays

The two bedrooms apartment was clean and spacious with a large terrace screened by a tree. The kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking ware (a hygiene kit was provided including tablets for the dishwasher) made the move-in easy. There is a lift and a enclosed parking. After a day of hiking the spa with its spotless heated pool, sauna and Turkish bath was well appreciated. Location is excellent with the train station and the town center a 10 mn walk, a bus stop just around the corner and supermarkets across the street. The residence was very quiet. The front desk staff was helpful making check-in and check-out easy and smooth. The week went too fast but we will be back at CGH residence cœur d'or!

Recently renovated clean comfortable rooms. Ski in/out access (button lift within 50m) to slopes. Well heated boot/ski lockers. Check in/out good be better. Expectation to clean, strip beds etc more in keeping with a 2 star than 4 star property. Additional end of stay cleaning expensive. Regular visitor to les Arcs. First time in 2000. A bit Cheaper than equivalent in Arcs 1950 but definitely a step down in quality, service and facilities.

The pool and Jacuzzi were only lukewarm which spoilt the experience. Breakfast only served until 10am but items were running out before then and not being replenished. No croissants, Crepes and bacon at 9.45 and the coffee machines not replenished. Some rooms on the resort side experience loud noise when the snow ploughs/conditioners pass during the night. overall an excellent 5* hotel though next to the free gondolas to 1950.

Overall the hotel was average. There were a few things that i really didnt like: Every mug was chipped in multiple places, I didn't find one that was completely in tact. We had 3 people in our room but only given 2 room keys. When I asked for an extra key, I was told that I had to pay €10 for it! My husband then went to ask for an extra key and the price was then €5! If you're going to charge for 3 people (2 adults and one young teen) in a room, then make it policy to give out 3 keys. Not hard. Lastly, we had to check our itemised bill properly as drinks that we had not had, had been added to our bill.

Never will stay at MMV again!! Our holiday was ruined by this hotel.Dirty, smells and food was horrific .
