I was very impressed with the humility, friendliness and the unique quality of the staff going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. My initial encounter with the shuttle driver, Robert, from the airport which is only 17 mins in heavy traffic; to my first encounter with Peter, the guest house' owner, as well as Tianna, guest house keeper and Wayne, the maintenance worker, gave me the full assurance that I had made the right choice. This guest house is a hidden gem as it is not visible from the street. I savored very moment of my stay from July 25th - 28th! The cleanliness of the rooms and entire property; delicious breakfast; with additional treats of coconut water and sugar cane, which filled me up for the entire day as well as the breath-taking view of the ocean and the cool breeze; and the joy of watching the spectacular sunrise, were enough to make me tell others about this hidden gem and my desire to visit again. We had ants and other bugs in our room. Every bar in the resort will run out of liquor and wouldn’t replenish till the next day. Excuses were made for being understaff. Some of the personal work alone, especially at the food truck. I wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed here for 8 nights for our honeymoon. The room was nice and clean, although they were not straightforward about the room being 2 beds instead of 1 despite paying the $69 room selection fee. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but the higher-ups were not eager to go above and beyond. There was a complication with getting the complimentary honeymoon package and there was no real effort made to resolve it so we got the special honeymoon dinner and that was it. The beach view wasn’t great, it’s fairly small but it was exclusive which was nice. The spa treatments were a little more than I wanted to pay despite having a coupon book by booking through Expedia. The food was generally great, the room service was the only time it was lacking. Overall it was pretty good, I would recommend it.
