Great Plains Adventure Holidays

Amazing location. Great bar. Friendly staff and very clean.

I rented a room here for a weekend getaway for my boyfriend's birthday in September. The rooms were pricey but it's to be expected based on the location and the room type. We had to change our room twice. The first room needed some renovations. It was clean but worn. Stains in the carpet, scratches on the walls and cabinets and the bathroom sink. The tub had like cuts in the bottom and the toilet was running over the top onto the floor with each flush. We couldn't change rooms that night due to then being booked but they informed us we could change the next day and have us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant which was great. The next day a promised, we got a new room. This room This room was better, the layout was better, it felt more updated than the first and no visible issues. After sitting on the couch for a bit I got up and I was stuck to something that's when I noticed a large brown, sticky substance in between the couch cushions. I called down to the desk just about ready to get a refund and leave but the front desk attendant offered to change the room and I asked if they could come inspect the next one with me. At the end we moved into our third room which was fine, not anything exciting but it was clean and we got another breakfast voucher. Needless to say,I was just disappointed in the rooms because I was expecting something a bit on the luxury side but instead they were outdated and not maintained. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was very accommodating
