(653 reviews) We stayed in a studio and loved it. It is huge and beautiful, and the balcony view is outstanding. The only disappointing part of Villa La Estancia was the slow service at the pool and in the restaurants. The first morning, we went for breakfast and asked for pan dulce, and they said it was already finished, even though it was only 9:15am. The wait for an omelette was also very long, around twenty minutes. Because of this, we ended up having our meals at the Flamingos restaurants. The food there was better, the breakfast buffet had many more options, and the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant staff at Flamingos seemed more efficient and attentive. Other than the restaurants service issues, Villa La Estancia is a beautiful hotel with an amazing warmed pool. Yes it’s not a traditional hotel so there’s elevators like in a condo building and the reception is outside, but the hosts are there to greet you and show you around the place and they’re extremely nice. My 13yo and I stayed here for 4 days and it was paradise. Would definitely return.
