I liked the amenities and location of the hotel, and easy access to restaurants, shops and bus transportation to Piran and other neighboring towns.

There is no Uber here! Also - the pictures are a lie! The “resort” is right in a campground. The dinner buffet is really your only choice as there is nothing around. Our room was not clean, we saw bugs. Had I known I would not have booked here.

We stayed two nights at this hotel , and for the cost ($800+ for the two nights) we expected so much more from the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived early and staff offered that we could leave our suitcases in a space near the desk, which we did but they really should have a secured area. Our room was on the 4th floor with a city view ( which is what we had booked), and it was quite small. There was no where to set our suitcases so we had to just leave them on the floor which was not ideal as the floor space is very limited. The bed was a decent size but was very firm and rather uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible and very lumpy. The bathroom was functional except for the shower area. This area has just a glass panel which covers a potion of the shower, but it is impossible to keep the water from going all over the bathroom floor even when using a towel to try to dam it. The hotel has a roof top deck which is nice and is a great place to watch the sunset, but on Saturday night is packed. The hotel also has a private waterfront area, but the fee is €25 per day for 2 towels and an umbrella. The breakfast was very good and had lots of options. It is a decent hotel, but the cost is really for the location - being right on the boardwalk. Be aware that on some nights there is a very loud concert that occurs. Bring earplugs.

While the hotel looked nice from the outside and the surrounding area was beautiful, the experience was disappointing. The air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no hair conditioner provided. The beach was rocky and poorly maintained. When we arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes before closing, the staff wasn’t accommodating. The outdoor pool didn’t exist, and the small indoor pool was not well maintained. Overall, it fell short of expectations.

Terme Hotel is just being renovated, still our room or the outside of the building still look old. The facilities in the room are basic and the bath room quite small, but all in all fine and very clean. Food options in the hotel are rather medium and dinner at the hotel quite late - and there aren't many options around, except for Restaurant Pinija which is in walking distance and really great. All in all for the stay a 4/5.

First time visitor to Portoroz this was an hotel I had read a lot about so knew what this maybe like. First of all if you don’t want a big resort location then Portoroz is not for you some of the smaller towns in either Croatia or Slovenia maybe more for you. I enjoyed it middle of the week in peak season it was not too busy. The rooms in the hotel are on the dated side as other comments imply but they were clean and I found them fine. Yes it’s annoying no plug socket near the bed but really not a huge deal. The beach club across the street was great way to chill out in the day and discount for hotel guests appreciated. Being able to use pool and changing room in hotel next door was an added benefit I didn’t know on booking. Breakfast was a big selection maybe more focused on quantity vs quality it was included in my room price. I am not sure if I would pay extra for this. Overall if you want to enjoy the resort hotel vibe you will enjoy this. I would come back as enjoyed my few days here.

Hotel was totally 5 star beautiful facility in the central location, spacious and quiet room with super helpful staff and amazing breakfast but the spa was time limited with no bars and variety of features were scattered around multiple building far way which was very confusing to navigate.

Location and site is perfect but service is bad there is no access by car to the hotel reception nor a shuttle or laggage pick up from the parking you have to carry your laggage from the parking back and forth on open door area around 200 meter to go to the front desk and stuff are not really helpful no coffee and water complementary offered in the room
