We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta. The hotel is set inside a beautifully restored historic building just steps from Plaza Mayor, making it perfect for exploring Trujillo on foot. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. Alba was warm, welcoming, and made everything easy. Overall, an excellent stay in a charming location — we’d happily return.

Location was perfect. Dozens of bars and restaurants within minutes from front door of hotel. Downside was the rooftop bar closes at 10 PM, I was never able to enjoy the views overlooking Madrid. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Atlantico. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and full of charm. Since it’s in an older building, it has a lot of character, which I really liked. The room was on the smaller side—it was the hotel’s smallest room option—but honestly, it was still more spacious than many rooms you’d find in New York City and good for a solo traveler. The location on Gran Vía was perfect. It’s a very busy, lively area, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, this probably isn’t the place for you. I chose it intentionally because wanted to be close to the shopping and everything the area has to offer, and it was very convenient to be able to pop back to the hotel during the day when a break was needed. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, with great views and a lovely place to relax and take in the city. Because the building is older, you can hear some noise like doors closing as the hallway is very narrow and the floors creaking. It wasn’t a big issue, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
