(737 reviews) We stayed 4 days at the Movenpick Hotel. Very central location in the CBD but not much going on in that area. For restaurants open later and a more vibrant bar scene, stay near Salamanca Market. Check in was easy and quick. Room was a bit small but tidy and well organized. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Washroom was gigantic, almost as big as room itself. Cleaners were a strange in that they only did bed but didn’t wash mugs nor change towels despite being on floor. Check out was drawn out, which was frustrating. Only 1 of 3 elevators were working, which was annoying. All in all, a bit pricy for what you get and if I were to return to Hobart would probably stay elsewhere.
